Market rules
Short version: rank is the bid. Here are the specifics.
Bidding
- ›Get in for $1. Bids are whole dollars, up to $999,999.
- ›Your bid takes whatever rank it can afford — you needn’t buy #1.
- ›It ramps up: to outbid any spot you must beat it by at least 5% (minimum $1). Cheap to enter, progressively pricier to climb.
- ›Raising your own listing charges only the difference.
- ›Equal bids keep their order — the older bid holds the higher rank.
Fair play · anti-snipe
- ›No single bid may jump more than $250 or 25% above the current #1 (whichever is larger) — the cap scales as prices climb.
- ›You can still climb to any height — just bid again. This keeps the top contested instead of letting one giant bid end the game.
What you can list
- ›Product websites, or X profiles as @handles.
- ›App Store, Play Store, and GitHub links are kept and keyed by their path.
- ›Tracking parameters are stripped automatically.
What you can’t list
- ›Chat & invite links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal…).
- ›Adult or sexual content.
- ›Affiliate / referral URLs — referral parameters won’t survive.
- ›Link shorteners — resolved to their destination, or rejected.
Payments & alerts
- ›Payments are processed by Dodo Payments (merchant of record) in USD. A completed payment claims your rank.
- ›Listings are public and link out to your URL without tracking parameters.
- ›Add an email to be alerted the moment you’re outbid. No account is created.
- ›All bids are final — there are no refunds.
